EAST ORANGE, N.J. - s4story -- Anna D. Banks, Principal of Thrive Leadership Institute, Inc. and member of the President's Advisory Committee for the John Maxwell Team (JMT), joined leadership expert, author, and speaker, Dr. John C. Maxwell to visit the Dominican Republic along with 200 other talented John Maxwell Team coaches last week.  The trip marked the third time Banks joined Dr, Maxwell to provide a series of conferences aimed at strengthening values-based leadership in a Latin American country.

The work of Dominicana se Transforma, a non-profit organization, and local partner of the John C. Maxwell Leadership Foundation, inspired Banks and coaches from different countries, to visit the country and train more than 30,000 people on Transformation Tables, a values-based curriculum.  Those trained will serve as multipliers in all levels of society.

"There are 25 basic values ​​that are fundamental and that apply in any society.  In the Dominican Republic, transformation tables are focused on twelve values; these are, commitment, self-confidence, responsibility, positive attitude, forgiveness, initiative, listening. Also, integrity, discipline, passion, common agenda and the two pillars of transformation", said Banks. "The program will revolve around those topics in the Transformation Tables.

Saturday, November 20, 2021 (a.m.):  Along with 14 other coaches trained nearly 200 facilitators at Iglesia Cristiana, Santo Domingo (DN), Dominican Republic.

Throughout the week, 200 John Maxwell Team trained professionals who specialize in values, directed training sessions for 1,000+ organizations, and trained 30,000 in seven cities of the country.  The coaches served in Santo Domingo, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Punta Cana, Santiago, Hato Mayor and Barahona.
