NEW BEDFORD, Mass. - s4story -- Global Learning Charter Public School (GLCPS), a tuition-free public charter school that currently services 500 students in grades 5-12, will hold its annual Global Gala scholarship fundraiser on Friday, April 26th.
The event will be held from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Allendale Country Club in Dartmouth.
The longest-serving charter school in New Bedford is a tuition-free public charter school that serves 500 students in grades 5-12. GLCPS offers a small, personalized, college preparatory learning environment in which students are encouraged to realize their full potential, both academically and personally.
Each year, the Global Gala raises money for the Global Scholarship Fund which provides college scholarships for graduating seniors and for eligible students to attend summer academic travel programs.
The Global Gala is one of the ways the school celebrates partnerships with both local and international institutions. At this year's Global Gala, attendees will recognize and thank the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts for its commitment to supporting arts and culture on the South Coast.
