Inaugural ParrotPHest raises $7,000 for Alzheimer's Association
S For Story/10679206
FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - s4story -- Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach announced October's ParrotPHest Trop Rock Weekend raised $7,000 for the Alzheimer's Association.
The Parrot Head Club of SWFL and The Villages Parrothead Club got together for a joint "phlocking," a social gathering of club members. The groups met on Nov. 20, at License to Chill Bar & Grill at Margaritaville to present the check to representatives from the Alzheimer's Association.
"While we all had an amazing time at ParrotPHest listening to great music by the beach, being able to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association is a true privilege," said Yenier Marrero, general manager of Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach. "Supporting such an important cause while bringing the Parrot Head community together to celebrate the Margaritaville lifestyle is what we're all about."
The inaugural ParrotPHest Trop Rock Weekend took place Oct. 3-5, 2025, at Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach. The three-day beachfront festival featured live performances, poolside lounging, signature boat drinks and sun-soaked festivities, all set against the backdrop of the resort's stunning Gulf views.
