Inform Your Community Announces New Motto: "Fun, Information, and Civility - Together"
S For Story/10677925
NEW YORK - s4story -- New York, NY — Inform Your Community (IYC), the nonprofit dedicated to making civic-learning accessible, engaging, and joyful, is proud to unveil a refreshed motto that concisely captures the spirit of its mission: "Fun, Information, and Civility - Together".
Since its founding, IYC has sought to maximize the power of authentic entertainment experiences to provide relevant impactful information about important topics and social problems to children and adults of all ages. IYC emphasizes the four "C's" of civics, civic engagement, civility, and civil rights.
The new motto — Fun, Information, and Civility - Together (FICT) — puts a fresh face on IYC's core values, reinforcing how the organization brings people together to learn, engage and participate in a vibrant, inclusive environment.
"This new motto captures everything we are about — creating events that are fun, delivering meaningful information, fostering civility in how we engage, and doing it all together," said Anastacia "Stacey" Kurylo, Founder and CEO of Inform Your Community. "We believe that when people gather in an atmosphere of respect and enjoyment, they are more open to learning and more ready to participate in civic life."
