LIMSABC Presents Novel LIMS Technology For Public Health Facilities
S For Story/10358424
Informatics Solution for Laboratory Data Management and Coordination between Local, Regional and State Public Health providers.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nov. 13, 2018 - s4story -- LIMSABC, a leader in the world of laboratory information management systems (LIMS), has once again hit a homerun with the development of LIMSABC for Public Health. The launch of this innovative technology has caused quite a stir in the industry.
LIMSABC for Public Health was carefully developed to fulfill the unique needs of local health department (LHD) laboratories. Due to the lack of viable systems geared toward this niche, too many underserved laboratories continue to use paper or nonspecific modules of the electronic medical records/electronic health records (EMR/EHR) system for lab patient records, lab orders and reports. This hampers the smooth flow of crucial information between the local health department, the state health department, and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). With LIMSABC for Public Health, the LHD lab will be able to exchange data with the systems at the state and national level in real time, making for a more timely and accurate transmission and receipt of information.

Gabriel Balint, the CEO for LIMSABC said, "The new LIMSABC for Public Health is built on a flexible platform that provides the lab with the ability to adapt to changes in regulations, test menus, and third-party integrations easily." Mr. Balint continued, "Efficient communications between the local health department lab and the electronic health record, local hospitals, clinics, providers, and state and national public health repositories is critical to quality patient care and population health. It's a cost-effective solution that will allow even the smallest local health department lab on a tight budget to function more efficiently. We are very proud to launch LIMSABC for Public Health."
Nancy Rourke, the Vice President of Product and Business Development said, "LIMSABC for Public Health was designed specifically for those "forgotten" city, county and local health departments, who have the same needs of larger health department labs at the state and national level, but don't have the same budget or staff to implement and support a LIMS." Ms. Rourke added, "LIMSABC for Public Health gives them the bridge between the ability to serve their local health department and community healthcare needs, as well as provide a seamless electronic connection to their laboratory partners at the state and national level. Most importantly, we provide it at a cost that works with their limited budgets."

LIMSABC constantly strives to develop new and novel technology to improve the storage, sharing, and coordination of data for laboratories worldwide. When faced with an information management dilemma, the developers accept the challenge and forge ahead to find a practical solution.
