EDMONTON, Alberta - s4story -- Born in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania in 1990 is how the story of conscious rapper Erick Rush begins. Fashioning a life full of adventures, Erick Rush began touring in his native Tanzania before migrating to the United States and eventually settling in his current residence, Edmonton Canada. Erick Rush wants to show another side to the rap game while washing away the negative stereotypes associated with hip hop music such as gang violence, crime and drugs.

His lyrical prowess has not gone unnoticed with several accolades to his name including reaching the Top 10 finalist in the Trace Stars music competition and being named Hype's MVP by HypeMagazine. He was also honored as a People choice nominee by Edmonton Music Awards.
