Messageware Launches Server Threat Guard v2.5, Combining Server Security and Health Monitoring
S For Story/10682283
Smart and effective server security that combines real-time threat detection with health monitoring to identify real risks and changes in system reliability.
TORONTO - s4story -- Messageware Incorporated today announced the release of Server Threat Guard (STG) Version 2.5 for 2026. This latest release significantly expands STG's capabilities, evolving beyond traditional intrusion detection to deliver a unified solution that combines advanced server security detection with comprehensive server health monitoring. STG is designed for Windows Servers, protecting hosted servers and VMs on all platforms including on-premises, Azure, AWS, and others.
STG v2.5 also introduces AutoLearn, a new technology designed to eliminate the "noise" of false positives that plagues standard security tools, allowing IT and SecOps teams to focus on genuine threats and the operational health of their Windows Server infrastructure. AutoLearn creates a more advanced baseline of the server environment during a designated learning period to distinguish between normal operations and potential anomalies.

"Security and IT operations often struggle with tools that generate noise rather than actionable data," said Mark Rotman, President and CEO of Messageware. "We built Server Threat Guard v2.5 to automate the vigilance that typically requires a full team of analysts. By understanding each specific server and combining that with hardware health, we provide SecOps and Support teams with a clear signal of both malicious activity and system stability."

Server Threat Guard v2.5 —Key Features
- Deep, Holistic Monitoring
STG continuously monitors critical system components - services, tasks, start-up, virtual directories, IIS, registry, configurations, event logs, and more, to proactively identify security risks and operational stability issues. - Intelligent AutoLearn
STG learns what normal system behavior looks like and flags only meaningful anomalies, reducing false alarms and letting security teams focus on real threats. - Expanded Login & System Change Detection
STG now detects unexpected server logins, system updates, and critical configuration changes that could indicate compromise or misuse. - Integrated Server Health
STG identifies early signs of hardware failure, system errors, and performance degradation in real time, helping prevent outages before they impact the business. - Zero-Trust Data Privacy
All analysis happens locally on the server. Whether the server is in the cloud or on-premises, sensitive data never leaves your environment and is never sent to third parties.
