Naples Airport Authority board selects chair, vice chair for 2026

NAPLES, Fla. - s4story -- The Naples Airport Authority Board of Commissioners tapped Terrence Cavanaugh as chair and John Crees as vice chair for 2026. Both officers will serve in their respective leadership roles for the next year.
The NAA's Board of Commissioners is appointed by Naples City Council and members are responsible for providing policy direction, strategic oversight and long-term guidance for Naples Airport, ensuring it continues to serve the region effectively. The five-member board also includes Robert Patten Burns, Michelle Arnold and Ralph Alberto.
Along with electing officers at the Jan. 15 meeting, board members designated representatives to serve on a pair of committees for one-year terms. Arnold will chair the Audit Committee, which also includes Crees and Burns. Cavanaugh and Alberto were appointed to the Consultant Selection Committee.
Additionally, Crees will serve as the board's liaison to the Noise Compatibility Committee, a nine-member committee of local residents and volunteers that review the airport's noise abatement program and make noise-related recommendations to Naples Airport Authority.
