Neighborhood Housing Services of NYC to Host Housing Resource Fair Saturday, July 25, in the Bronx

Housing nonprofit's biggest event of the year is expected to draw over 200 home buyers, homeowners, small landlords, and property managers for workshops, resources, and raffles, plus huge exhibit hall. Free admission. Se habla espanol.
BRONX, N.Y. - s4story -- Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City (NHSNYC), a nonprofit, HUD-certified, citywide housing counseling agency, will host its largest event of the year, the All-Free Annual Housing Resource Fair, on Saturday, July 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the TWU Homeownership Center, 2475 Westchester Avenue, Bronx, NY 10461.
Designed for home buyers, homeowners, tenants, and small landlords, the event is expected to attract over 200 attendees seeking valuable information, resources, and services to help them achieve and maintain housing stability and homeownership.
The fair will feature a series of workshops covering housing-education topics including:

The FDNY Education Unit will be on site to provide fire safety information, register residents for free smoke alarms and installation.
In addition, New York City Emergency Management will share resources on emergency preparedness, including creating an emergency plan, identifying evacuation zones, hurricane readiness, and other critical safety information.
Local elected officials are expected to attend throughout the day to show their support for the organization and the communities it serves.
The event will also feature raffles and giveaways, including a grand prize flatscreen television, as well as complimentary light refreshments for attendees.
