Rotary Trains New Leaders to Expand Community Impact Across New Jersey
S For Story/10684913
Rotary members from northern and central New Jersey recently gathered for leadership training to equip a new generation with practical strategies to grow engagement and expand service locally and globally.
BRANCHBURG, N.J. - s4story -- On Thursday, February 12, 2026, Rotary leaders met with one clear objective: strengthen clubs and increase impact across the region.
Hosted by Rotary District 7475, the session focused on equipping incoming club leaders with tools to grow membership, deepen community partnerships, and increase visibility.
Participants explored ways to welcome new members, engage younger professionals, and build inclusive programs that reflect the communities Rotary serves. Communication and storytelling were emphasized as essential drivers of growth, ensuring more people understand and connect with Rotary's mission.
District Leadership Chair Bob Law underscored the importance of preparation.

"When leaders are equipped and aligned, clubs grow stronger and communities benefit," Law said.
District Governor-Elect Joe Nastus emphasized collaboration.
"This is about momentum," Nastus said. "When leaders connect with purpose, service accelerates."
Public image was identified as a strategic priority. District Public Image Chair Anna D. Banks and the District Public Image Committee will work directly with clubs to strengthen messaging, increase visibility, and ensure consistent communication about Rotary's work both locally and globally.
Leaders also began preparations for regional training in March that will bring together more than 300 Rotary leaders from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as the Connect For Good Summit in May. Both events are designed to further strengthen leadership capacity and celebrate community service achievements.
The message was clear: Rotary's future in New Jersey will be shaped by prepared leaders, strong collaboration, and visible action.
