RTLS Alliance Ecosystem Welcomes LocaXion, Slamcore and AiRISTA as Founding Vendors
S For Story/10680166
The RTLS Alliance Ecosystem announces its first Founding Vendors LocaXion, Slamcore, and AiRISTA bringing together real-world deployment expertise, advanced spatial AI, and enterprise-scale interoperability to support collaboration, standardization, and practical guidance for the global real-time location systems community.
WASHINGTON - s4story -- The RTLS Alliance Ecosystem, led by RTLS Institute, Inc., the nonprofit industry association advancing real-time location systems, is proud to welcome LocaXion, Slamcore, and AiRISTA as its Founding Vendors. Their participation marks a significant milestone in the ecosystem's mission to accelerate the adoption, standardization, and interoperability of real-time location systems (RTLS) across global industries.
The RTLS Alliance Ecosystem was established to address a core challenge facing the RTLS landscape: organizations across manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and other sectors are increasingly deploying location technologies, yet lack unified standards, reference architectures, and shared implementation best practices. Through a collaborative, vendor-neutral environment, the ecosystem aims to enable RTLS deployments that are more consistent, reliable, and scalable over the long term.
This work is guided by the Alliance's Alliance Ambassadors™—a group of RTLS trailblazers from organizations such as BMW, Toyota, GM, DENSO, Philips, Arconic, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Their combined experience operating RTLS at an industrial scale helps shape educational programs and shared guidance grounded in real-world operational insight.
As the RTLS market continues to mature, it remains complex. Different approaches to positioning, varied levels of technology readiness, and fragmented terminology have made it difficult for solution providers, OEMs, integrators, and end users to navigate the landscape with confidence. Many organizations share common questions—around performance, interoperability, scalability, compliance, and long-term ownership—yet lack a trusted, neutral forum where those questions can be addressed collectively.
More on S For Story
By bringing practitioners and technology providers together within a structured, vendor-neutral setting administered by RTLS Institute, Inc., the RTLS Alliance Ecosystem creates shared understanding across the industry. The participation of its first Founding Vendors reflects growing recognition that collaboration, transparency, and practical knowledge exchange are essential to supporting the next wave of RTLS adoption. And while these inaugural contributors provide an important foundation, the Alliance anticipates broadening its perspectives as its community continues to expand.
Contributions of the Founding Vendors
LocaXion
LocaXion contributes extensive hands-on deployment experience across healthcare, manufacturing, and logistics. The company has long championed the integration of RTLS with digital twin technologies, developing location-intelligence-driven operational models well before digital twins became mainstream. Its real-world deployment expertise helps ensure ecosystem guidance reflects how RTLS performs in complex operating environments.
Slamcore
Slamcore offers deep expertise in visual-inertial localization and sensor fusion, representing a class of positioning technologies increasingly relevant to robotics, mobile platforms, and industrial mobility. Its SLAM-based spatial AI technology enables accurate, infrastructure-independent localization in dynamic facilities, expanding the ecosystem's exposure to next-generation RTLS approaches.
AiRISTA
AiRISTA brings expertise in platform-level interoperability and RTLS integration—critical capabilities as organizations deploy diverse positioning technologies. Its vendor-agnostic integration approach reads data from multiple systems, normalizing heterogeneous location streams into unified operational intelligence. This directly addresses a key Alliance priority: enabling organizations to leverage the best technologies while ensuring RTLS investments remain flexible and future-proof.
Collectively, these Founding Vendors represent complementary dimensions of the RTLS landscape—deployment practice, spatial intelligence innovation, and enterprise-scale system design—strengthening the depth, relevance, and credibility of the ecosystem's work.
