ASHBURN, Va. - s4story -- The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) is pleased to recognize the 446 school business officials who have earned ASBO International's Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations® (SFO®) certification since the program's inauguration.

The designation is increasingly valued as an important screening tool for school districts seeking qualified administrators to oversee and manage their educational resources. "Employers know that becoming on SFO is not a one-time commitment, but a lifelong dedication to adhering to professional standards and excelling as industry leaders," says Lynn Buch, 2019 SFO Commission Chair.

In 2020, the SFO program will celebrate its ten-year anniversary as the recognized, validated standard for professional competencies. It will also mark the commencement of the updating of the exam; a routine process to keep test content current and stay abreast of industry changes. This rigorous commitment to relevance  and best practices has made the SFO program highly respected amongst peers and in building a career as a school business official.
