Shuttle Buddy Announces Amazon Partnership to Launch Workforce Express in North Carolina
S For Story/10704057
Workforce Express expands access to reliable commuter transportation for employees traveling from the Fayetteville area to Amazon RDU1 and RDU2.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - s4story -- Shuttle Buddy, a veteran-owned transportation company headquartered in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is expanding workforce mobility through its partnership with Amazon and the official launch of Workforce Express, a commuter transportation initiative designed to connect employees with reliable transportation to major employment centers.
The initial Workforce Express rollout supports employees traveling from the Fayetteville area to Amazon RDU1 and RDU2. The launch represents a significant expansion of Shuttle Buddy's transportation network and introduces a service model specifically focused on helping workers overcome transportation barriers to employment.
"Transportation should never be the reason someone has to turn down a job, miss a shift, or lose an employment opportunity," said Tauheed "Ty" Wood, Founder and CEO of Shuttle Buddy. "The launch of Workforce Express allows us to address that barrier directly. Partnering with Amazon to officially launch this program gives us an opportunity to connect more people with employment while continuing to build transportation solutions that strengthen our community."

WORKFORCE TRANSPORTATION BUILT AROUND EMPLOYMENT
Workforce Express was developed to provide scheduled commuter transportation designed around the needs of working passengers. The program connects employees with employment destinations while providing transportation options that align with workplace schedules and regional commuting needs.
The initial rollout includes transportation supporting Amazon RDU1 in Garner, North Carolina, as well as Amazon RDU2. Employees can access scheduled transportation from the Fayetteville area to work and return transportation following their shifts, subject to current route schedules and seat availability.
Current Workforce Express schedules, pickup locations, fares, and reservation information are available through Shuttle Buddy's official website:

ADDRESSING A WORKFORCE TRANSPORTATION GAP
Employment opportunities can extend far beyond the communities where workers live. For individuals without dependable transportation, distance can become a barrier to accepting or maintaining employment.
