Lead a band of mercenaries into the Maw, a colossal starfallen fortress, to battle rival warbands, eldritch horrors, and corruption itself. Alien gods offer salvation, for a blood sacrifice. But every bargain, temptation, and tough choice corrupts your mercenaries' souls, and the sins they carry shape who, or what, they become. Can you keep your mercenaries from succumbing to sin, or will they join the Cult of the Maw?

- Manage corruption from blood sacrifice, narrative choices, and battlefield consequences. Be wary, lest your mercenaries succumb to sinful traits.
- Sinful traits sow turmoil: greedy mercenaries steal, prideful ones disobey. Sinners may thwart an expedition, or worse, forsake you to join the Cult of the Maw.
- Sacrifice blood to a pantheon of alien demon-gods in exchange for Bloodmarks that empower your mercenaries, a bargain that corrupts their very souls.
- Theorycraft builds from 12 races and 20 classes, such as Shadow Knight, Sword Dancer, and Witch Hunter, with vast equipment-driven customization.

Mercenaries accumulate corruption on and off the battlefield when sacrificing blood, killing foes, making story decisions, or failing temptation checks. High corruption manifests sins that change your mercenaries' behaviors in narrative events, campsite actions, and on the battlefield: greedy mercenaries steal and prideful ones disobey. Those who succumb to sin abandon you to join the Cult of the Maw. Face them on later expeditions to claim vengeance for their betrayal.

"Myths from the Maw is our love letter to Dante's Inferno," says Half Human Games founder Percy Legendre IV. "We wanted a game that tests your morals at every turn. In the Maw, every choice costs something, and your mercenaries carry it with them. Seeing who they turn into has been the most fun part of making this game."

Myths from the Maw is coming to Kickstarter in early 2027 and PC via Steam.
