~ Austin, TX- Governor Greg Abbott has recently announced the appointment of Sara Oates and the reappointment of David Shurtz and Kay Rankin-Swan to the Credit Union Commission. Their terms are set to expire on February 15, 2031.
The Credit Union Commission is responsible for overseeing the Credit Union Department, which regulates all credit unions organized and chartered under the laws of Texas. These appointments are subject to Senate confirmation.
