The Monterey Company Named Top Pick for Custom-Shaped Keepsake Ornaments in 2026 Holiday Guides
S For Story/10706725
Feast Magazine and Our Good Life both rank the Bend, Oregon, custom manufacturer top overall among custom ornament suppliers and single it out for corporate gifts and retailers.
BEND, Ore. - s4story -- The Monterey Company, a Bend custom-products manufacturer, ranks No. 2 in two October holiday buying guides for custom ornaments, each naming it the top choice for corporate gifting, retail, and custom-shaped keepsake ornaments.
UK publication Feast Magazine published "8 Best Custom Ornament Makers for Your Christmas Work Party (2026)" on Oct. 10. The guide compared eight suppliers, five in the U.S. and three in the U.K., on minimum order, published pricing, design control, keepsake value, and delivery timing. It ranked The Monterey Company second behind 4imprint and listed it as the pick for custom-shaped keepsake ornaments.
On Oct. 14, lifestyle blog Our Good Life by Terri Steffes published "Where to Order Custom Ornaments in Bulk for Friends, Family, and Employees," which ranked seven suppliers. It ranked The Monterey Company second behind Crestline and named it Best for Custom-Shaped Keepsake Ornaments, saying the company "wins keepsake value outright."

Both guides gave the same reason for the second-place ranking: custom shapes require more lead time than catalog ornaments.
Rather than printing a logo on a stock ball, The Monterey Company cuts each ornament to the customer's own design, such as an office building, team mascot, product or family crest. Ornaments are available in six materials: metal, acrylic, glass, wood, leather, and PVC rubber. Metal options include brass, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel, pewter and zinc alloy, finished with engraving or full-color print.
"A logo on a stock ball gets tossed in January, but an ornament shaped as your building or mascot goes back on the tree every year," said Eric Turney, president of The Monterey Company. "Both guides recognized that difference. Our job this season is making sure customers start early enough to get it."
Every order begins with a free digital mockup, and production starts only after the customer approves it. Metal orders start at 50 pieces per design, with price breaks at 100, 300, 500, and 1,000. Ornaments arrive individually polybagged and ready to hand out.

The company's cutoff for guaranteed December delivery is Nov. 1, 2026. Production runs 10-20 business days after proof approval. Pricing is quoted per order because cost depends on size, material, finish, and quantity.
