s4story -- In recent light of the underrepresentation of businesses owned by people of color and women, businesses nationwide are pooling together to provide services to help these companies grow and thrive. Comcast, renowned internet and cable provider, is no exception. Beginning November 2020, Comcast offered underrepresented business owners to participate in its 'Comcast RISE' program.

Since the program's debut, over 700 black-owned small businesses have been awarded various marketing and technology resources. The program has helped recipients in 29 states and 285 cities nationwide. Recently, Comcast RISE expanded its efforts to focus recipient inclusion on women.

"On November 23rd, 2021, Comcast RISE announced a major expansion of Comcast RISE to all women-owned businesses nationwide, furthering its efforts to advance digital equality and help provide underrepresented small business owners to the digital tools and funding they need to thrive." – Comcast RISE

Comcast RISE supplies a variety of free media and technology resources, including consulting, media tool access, creative production, and technology makeover.
