Advocacy 31nine's mission is to advocate for the educational success of all children impacted by foster care in Arizona and to reduce the school to prison pipeline.
TEMPE, Ariz. - s4story -- Advocacy31nine has announced its partnership with the Arizona Coyotes Foundation and has been chosen as the recipient of $15,000 in funding to further the causes and efforts of the organization.
Advocacy 31nine was started in 2018 by two passionate, social justice-seeking parents of children with mental and behavioral health needs. Advocacy 31nine's mission is to advocate for the educational success of all children impacted by foster care in Arizona and to reduce the school to prison pipeline.
Advocacy 31nine believes that ALL children can find success in school if their mental health and educational needs are being met by a team of professionals that are trauma-informed. We also believe that all children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) will be impacted by this trauma and that it will affect how they learn. Since 2018, Advocacy 31nine has been able to unlock more than $2,000,000 in supports and services for children in foster care.
