Ahead of Labor Day Weekend, Saguaro Injury Law Releases Free Online Tools for Arizona Drivers
S For Story/10701701
PHOENIX - s4story -- PHOENIX, AZ — With Labor Day weekend approaching, one of the busiest driving stretches on Arizona roads, Saguaro Injury Law has released three free online tools built to help Arizonans understand their rights and options after an accident: an Arizona Injury Deadline Calculator, an Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) Coverage Check, and a Comparative Fault Calculator. All three are available at no cost at https://saguaroinjurylaw.com/ and can be used without creating an account or scheduling a consultation.
The timing reflects what the state's own data shows. According to the Arizona Department of Transportation's 2024 Motor Vehicle Crash Facts report, 1,228 people were killed on Arizona roads in 2024 — more than three deaths per day — with alcohol involved in roughly 28 percent of traffic fatalities and speeding a factor in 417 deaths. Holiday weekends concentrate travel, and ADOT tracks holiday periods such as Labor Day separately in its annual reporting.
The Arizona Injury Deadline Calculator (https://saguaroinjurylaw.com/arizona-injury-deadline-calculator) provides a general estimate of the time limits that can apply to an Arizona injury claim. Arizona law generally allows two years to file most personal injury lawsuits, while claims against public entities involve a much shorter notice period of 180 days.

The UM/UIM Coverage Check helps drivers understand uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage. Arizona law requires insurers to offer this coverage with every auto policy, but many drivers are unsure whether they carry it or how it works when an at-fault driver has little or no insurance. The Comparative Fault Calculator illustrates Arizona's pure comparative fault system, under which an injured person can generally recover compensation even if they were partly at fault, with the recovery reduced by their percentage of fault. Both tools are available from the firm's homepage.
"Before a holiday weekend, most people think about packing the car — not about what their insurance actually covers," a Saguaro Injury Law spokesperson said. "These tools give straightforward, general answers to the questions people ask after a crash: how long do I have, what does my coverage do, and does partial fault matter."
The tools provide general information and estimates only and are not legal advice. Free consultations are available any hour, in English or Spanish, and the firm works on a contingency basis — there is no fee unless the case is won.
