Aurora to Celebrate Earth Day 2026 with Three Weeks of Citywide Events Led by The Walls Project
S For Story/10688927
AURORA, Colo. - s4story -- The Walls Project—an organization dedicated to revitalizing underused spaces through volunteerism, public art, and community cleanups—has announced plans for Earth Day Aurora 2026, a three-week, citywide series of community-driven events taking place April 6–28.
Through The Walls Project's Reactivation Program, the initiative will engage thousands of youth, students, educators, families, and volunteers in hands-on environmental activities, including school garden expansion, mural installations, tree planting, and community stewardship projects. These efforts are designed to create lasting impact by increasing canopy coverage, expanding access to fresh food, activating public spaces, and fostering community pride.
Earth Day Aurora 2026 reflects The Walls Project's ongoing commitment to youth leadership, environmental literacy, and civic engagement. By combining education, placemaking, and climate-focused initiatives, the program aims to cultivate the next generation of environmental stewards while delivering tangible community assets.
