HOWELL, N.J. - s4story -- Closeout Kitchens, a kitchen cabinet retailer in Howell Township, New Jersey, has launched a free AI kitchen designer on its website. Homeowners, contractors and designers can describe a kitchen in plain English and the tool lays out real cabinets from the store's catalog on a 2D floor plan and in 3D, with a live price for every piece.

Most online kitchen tools either hand the user a blank planning grid or generate a picture of a kitchen that cannot actually be bought. The Closeout Kitchens AI Kitchen Designer works from the store's real catalog. A user can type a request such as "build me a 10x10 kitchen with a 36-inch sink base on the back wall" or "add a 30-inch range with cabinets above and a vent hood", and the assistant suggests specific cabinets that fit the room and places them on the plan with one click.

How it works:

• Enter wall lengths and ceiling height, and add windows and doorways. The room appears in 2D and 3D.
• Pick a door style from the Forevermark and CNC collections the store carries.
• Chat with the AI assistant to request a full layout, a single cabinet, or feedback on what has been placed.
• Every cabinet placed builds a parts list with SKUs and current pricing, which can go straight to the cart or be sent to the store's design team for a free review and itemized quote.

The assistant follows written kitchen-design rules based on National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) guidelines, including work-triangle distances, 36 to 48 inch walkways and landing space beside the cooktop and sink. It also uses symmetry rules, for example filling a 54-inch run with two 27-inch cabinets so the door faces match, and lining wall cabinets up over the base cabinets below.

The designer runs in a web browser on desktop, with no download and no sign-up. Layouts can be saved and shared.

For DIY homeowners, the tool gives a real layout and a real budget before talking to anyone. For contractors and flippers, it is a fast way to spec cabinets for a job and see the price in front of a client.
