Women Around the World Recognized at The Stevie Awards Event in New York
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - s4story -- Collaborative ABA Services, LLC has been named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Women-Run Company for Social Good category in the 22nd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Award has been hailed as the world's premier business award.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for "crowned," the awards were presented to winners during a gala event attended by nominees and their guests at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on Monday, November 10. The ceremony was also streamed live via Vimeo.
More than 1,500 entries from organizations and individuals in 48 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in over 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, and Women Helping Women. Collaborative ABA Services was honored in the Women-Run Company for Social Good category for its dedication to improving access to behavioral health services and fostering inclusion and empowerment within the community.
Collaborative ABA Services, LLC, founded by Alisha Simpson Watt, a Licensed Social Worker and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, was established to meet the growing need for effective, individualized ABA therapy. The practice was inspired by Alisha's passion for helping children with developmental disabilities and her commitment to providing families with accessible, high quality care. "We are truly honored to receive a Silver Stevie Award for Women-Run Company for Social Good," said Alisha Simpson Watt, Founder and CEO. "This recognition reflects the heart of our mission which is to support children, empower families, and create meaningful change in our community.
