He is the founder of Reliable Risk, a consultancy focused on cyber and AI risk, and has held senior leadership positions including International Head of Cyber and Deputy Head of Financial Lines at Everest Insurance, Head of Insurance at Axio, Director of International Insurance Solutions at SecurityScorecard, and Underwriting Manager at EmergIn Risk (Ryan Specialty Group).

Throughout his career, Hawley has been recognized as a thought leader in cyber insurance, AI liability, and emerging risk. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, a published author, and co-author of the Cyber Insurance Research Findings textbook with the Insurance Institute of London.
