FAIRFAX, Va. - s4story -- Fairfax-based contemporary mixed media artist Precious Burger will celebrate Labor Day week with work in two prominent regional exhibitions.
Burger is a first-time participant in Teeny Tiny Trifecta 9, Second Street Gallery's annual juried exhibition and fundraiser in Charlottesville, Virginia. The exhibition brings together 609 small-scale artworks by 203 artists. Burger's three original 8 × 8-inch paintings will be available for $125 each. She will attend the public opening during Charlottesville's First Fridays celebration on September 4 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. The exhibition remains on view through September 25.

During the same week, Burger's mixed media painting Still I Stand will appear in Glen Echo Park's 55th Annual Labor Day Art Show. Held in the historic Spanish Ballroom, the exhibition features work by more than 500 Mid-Atlantic artists. The public show runs September 5–7 from noon to 6:00 p.m. daily, with free admission.
Both exhibitions reflect Burger's belief that original art can create meaningful moments of wonder, resilience, and human connection. Learn more about her work at www.preciousburger.com.
