Keenan Vigne's "Deep Seeded Thoughts" brings a newly engaged woman's fight for truth
DALLAS - s4story -- Emerging filmmaker and storyteller Keenan Vigne is drawing national attention with his new psychological thriller, "Deep Seeded Thoughts," now streaming on Tubi.
The film centers on a newly engaged woman who uncovers disturbing secrets from her fiancé's dark past, forcing her into a tense, emotional fight for the truth and her own survival.
Written and directed by Vigne, "Deep Seeded Thoughts" blends character-driven drama with edge-of-your-seat suspense, inviting viewers to question how well we really know the people we love. The story digs into themes of loyalty, deception, and emotional trauma through a Black lens, putting complex, layered characters at the center of the narrative.
Vigne is a New Orleans–born, Dallas-based filmmaker, actor, writer, and producer whose work focuses on "real stories about real people." Through his production company, Vigne Production, he has created multiple short films, series, and features that highlight everyday lives, moral tension, and community realities. His growing body of work includes the HBCU-centered drama "Back 2 Basics: Welcome to the Hill," and several upcoming projects rooted in true events and real-world struggles.

"Black filmmakers are the backbone of some of the most honest, powerful stories being told right now," Vigne says. "When you support an independent Black film, you are helping make room for more voices, more perspectives, and more truth on screen."
With "Deep Seeded Thoughts," Vigne adds to the growing wave of Black filmmakers reshaping the industry by telling stories that are specific, authentic, and unapologetically rooted in Black experiences. Black creators remain underrepresented in Hollywood, yet their stories drive cultural conversation, box office results, and streaming audiences. Films like "Deep Seeded Thoughts" help fill that gap, offering characters and plotlines that reflect the realities, fears, and hopes of Black communities in America.
"Deep Seeded Thoughts" has already begun building buzz among viewers on social platforms and streaming communities, where audiences are praising its storyline, intensity, and emotional depth. The film adds to Tubi's growing catalog of Black storytelling and independent cinema, making it easy for audiences to discover and support new Black talent from home.
