TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Christopher Forehand and Richard Temple to the Board of Professional Engineers, as well as reappointed Dylan Albergo, Jeb Mulock, and Brock Shrader.
Forehand, who holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Florida State University, is the President of Panhandle Engineering, Inc. He is an active member of the Florida Engineering Society and has previously served on the Florida State University Panama City Development Board.
Temple, who earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Nottingham, is currently the Regional Director of Walter P. Moore. He has also been involved in various community organizations such as the American Concrete Institute and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida Board of Directors.
Albergo, Lead Engineer at TLP Engineering Consultants' Tampa office, has been reappointed to the board. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Florida State University and a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida. Albergo is an active member of the Florida Engineering Society and was recognized as the 2019 Young Engineer of the Year for the Tampa Bay Chapter.

Mulock, President and Owner of ZNS Engineering in Bradenton, has also been reappointed to the board. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from The Citadel and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of South Florida. Mulock is actively involved in his community through organizations such as Kiwanis Club of Bradenton and Manatee County Children Services Advisory Board.
Shrader, President of Wilson & Girgenti, P.A., has been listed as a recipient for both 2022 and 2023 Best Companies to Work For by Florida Trend. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a juris doctor from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate, and the new members will join the board in their efforts to regulate and oversee the engineering profession in the state. With their diverse backgrounds and experience, they are expected to bring valuable insights and expertise to the board's decision-making process.
