Former agency owner launches new platform to tackle major B2B lead gen problem
S For Story/10702092
A Yorkshire entrepreneur has launched a new business to tackle one of the biggest frustrations facing marketing agency owners, after spending 15 years battling the problem himself.
LEEDS, U.K. - s4story -- Steve Pritchard, former owner of a successful SEO and digital PR agency, has developed a new B2B referral platform to help agencies grow through trusted recommendations, rather than having to rely on expensive and ineffective lead-generating methods.
During his agency career, Steve worked with brands including GoCompare, giffgaff and BrewDog, but also experienced first-hand the challenge of building a consistent pipeline of quality opportunities.
"Like most agency owners, we tried just about everything," he said. "We invested thousands in cold outreach, paid advertising and lead generation services, but the only leads that consistently delivered were referrals from people who already knew and trusted us."
Leadquity has been designed to formalise that process by linking agencies with freelancers, consultants and other well-connected professionals who are happy to recommend businesses they genuinely trust.

Steve said: "The best leads always came from people who knew and trusted us, but we needed to make that more formal and more reliable. So I've now created the platform I always wished had existed."
Rather than paying monthly retainers or large upfront fees, agencies create profiles, set the value they'd place on a qualified lead and only pay when a lead meets the quality criteria they have defined. Referrers receive up to 80% of the lead fee, creating a transparent and performance-based model that rewards both parties.
It is also more than just a business. Leadquity has charitable giving built into its DNA, with 30 per cent of all profits going straight to good causes in a bid to continue the legacy of Steve's daughter, Matilda, who died suddenly from an undiagnosed heart condition in 2024.
leadquity (https://leadquity.com/) is currently welcoming registrations from agency and professional referrer adopters.
The long-term ambition is for leadquity to become the UK's most trusted referral community across a variety of B2B services.
