CHICAGO - s4story -- Chicago, IL – Salvadoran-American comedian Jose "Hoozay" Velasquez is set to bring his high-energy, culture-rich comedy to Chicago for one unforgettable night on Friday, May 31, 2025, at Avondale Music Hall. Known for his hilarious takes on family, food, and growing up Salvadoran in the U.S., Hoozay is quickly becoming a favorite among Latino audiences nationwide. With millions of views across social media and comedy specials streaming on Prime Video and Apple TV, Hoozay has carved out a lane that authentically represents the Central American experience with humor and heart. Now, he's taking that experience on the road — and Chicago is next.

"I've always wanted to perform in Chicago, especially for the Salvadoran and Latino communities that have shown me so much love online," said Hoozay. "This show is about celebrating who we are, laughing at our shared experiences, and just having a good time."
