DOULA CO-OP of Nevada to Participate in Annual Fundraiser Benefiting Women and Families
RENO, Nev. - s4story -- The DOULA CO-OP of Nevada has announced it will participate in Recycle the Runway 2026, the annual fashion show and fundraising gala benefiting Dress for Success Reno–Northern Nevada.
Community members, nonprofit leaders, and women from across Northern Nevada will gather at Whitney Peak Hotel on Friday, August 21, 2026, for an evening of creativity, connection, and community support.
The Executive Director of the DOULA CO-OP of Nevada, Jennifer Campbell will walk the runway during this year's event to show support for Dress for Success and its mission of helping women build confidence, resilience, and opportunity through meaningful community connections.
"So much of the work we do, whether supporting someone through pregnancy, postpartum, grief, or major life transitions comes down to dignity, confidence, and human connection," Campbell said. "That's also what Dress for Success provides so beautifully. They remind women they are worthy of being seen, supported, and empowered."

Recycle the Runway challenges local designers to transform donated clothing and accessories into original runway fashions while highlighting the potential of reuse and sustainable design. More importantly, the event raises critical funds to support Dress for Success Reno–Northern Nevada's career development programs.
"We are incredibly grateful to have the DOULA CO-OP of Nevada participating in this year's Recycle the Runway Gala," said Jessica Stack, Executive Director of Dress for Success Reno–Northern Nevada. "Their commitment to empowering women through compassion, advocacy, and support aligns beautifully with our mission. Together, we're demonstrating that when organizations come together with a shared purpose, we can create lasting opportunities for women to build confidence, achieve economic independence, and thrive."
The evening will include a gourmet plated dinner, live runway fashion competition, silent auction, and recognition of community partners supporting the Women's Initiative campaign.
Recycle the Runway 2026 takes place Friday, August 21, 2026, at Whitney Peak Hotel in downtown Reno. VIP admission begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by General Admission at 6:00 p.m.
