Sweet Memories Vintage Tees & Candy Partners with Lit Youngstown for Fall Festival

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - s4story -- Sweet Memories Vintage Tees & Candy is excited to announce a collaborative partnership with Lit Youngstown's Fall Literary Festival. This exciting collaboration will bring together the worlds of literary arts, Youngstown history, vintage fashion, and nostalgic treats.
As part of the partnership, Sweet Memories will be sponsoring the Youngstown Lit Fest by offering complimentary Good Humor Ice Cream Bars.
"We want to celebrate our literary and cultural history and maybe even show off our city a little bit," said Lit Youngstown director Karen Schubert. "We are so grateful to our community partners, including Sweet Memories, for helping us create a meaningful experience."
About the Event:
Lit Youngstown's 8th annual literary festival will feature nearly 130 presenters from 24 states and hundreds of reading and writing enthusiasts from the Mahoning Valley and far beyond. This year's featured writers are keynote Hanif Abdurraqib, a Columbus writer who is a MacArthur "Genius" Award fellow and New Yorker columnist who will read from his new book There's Always This Year: On Basketball and Ascension, Friday October 18 at 7pm at St. John's Episcopal Church.

Saturday night's reading will feature Youngstown native and poet Ama Codjoe, poet-in-residence at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and award winning fiction writer Rachel Swearingen of Chicago. The Saturday reading will be at 7:00pm at the Tyler History Center, and will feature Good Humor Ice Cream Bars in the place where they were invented. Both evening readings are free and open to the public.
