WACO, Texas - s4story -- The 6th Annual Waco Family & Faith International Film Festival unspooled its empowering event on February 20-22, 2025, concluding a weekend of presenting over 25 films, from feature and short to student and animation films, from around the world. The film festival also continued its signature events such as its annual Champions Award Reception, its empowering Opening and Closing Night at the Movies, and featured national artists such as New York City's acclaimed BATTERY DANCE company.

The 2025 Waco Family & Faith International Film Festival recognized its "Champions Award" recipients at its annual reception, which was held at MARIE'S Wine Bar. This honor is dedicated to recognizing individuals and organizations who are exemplars of innovation as well as "good disruption" in the film, performing arts, media, music, sports, and entertainment industries. The 2025 Class of "Champions Awards" recipients were Fiona Bond, Executive Director for Creative Waco, Trina Terrell-Andrews, CEO of the Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center, and Shemane Nugent, Celebrity Influencer, Filmmaker, and Author.
