LONDON - s4story -- Cool Monkey Studios, an independent games and web studio in London, has relaunched TopRankinGames (toprankingames.com), a game top-list that first ran from 2008 to 2011.

Before social feeds decided which games got noticed, top-lists let players vote for the games they loved, and good small games could find an audience overnight. TopRankinGames brings that back with one firm rule: money can't buy the top spot.

How it works:

- Voting: players vote for their favourite online games for free, with no account, once every 12 hours per game.

- Monthly race: rankings reset every month. The game with the most votes is crowned champion and gets a permanent plaque in the Hall of Fame. The first crown goes to the November 2026 winner.

The studio rebuilt TopRankinGames so that small developers get a fair shot: players decide, not ad budgets.
