For horror fans, Frankenstein meets his mate on March 6 in Maggie Gyllenhaal's adaptation of the classic monster tale, THE BRIDE. In this dark comedy, a lonely Frankenstein, played by Christian Bale, travels to 1930s Chicago to ask a scientist, portrayed by five-time Oscar-nominated Annette Bening, to create a companion for him. What ensues is beyond what either of them ever imagined.
Another futuristic blockbuster debut during the spring break season is PROJECT HAIL MARY. Based on the 2021 novel from Andy Weir, the must-see space odyssey stars Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling. Premiering on March 20, Gosling plays a science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship light-years from Earth with no idea who he is or how he got there.
In addition to first-run films, Alamo Drafthouse's themed movie parties transform screenings into fully interactive events, complete with curated props and audience participation.
