YUMA, Ariz. - s4story -- "THE PERFECTION PARADOX", written by Yuma resident Jeffrey A. Kramer, has been nominated for a 2021 Author Elite Award, an honor bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry.

Kramer's book, up for the award in the Self-Help category, addresses perfectionism as an addition, using stories from Kramer's life to demonstrate how people become perfectionists, impacts the addiction has on their lives and those around them, and offers tips and strategies to minimize or overcome effects of perfectionism.

Perfection sounds appealing. After all, what is better than perfect? The allure of perfection hooks and draws us in. Once we've tasted perfection, good will never be good enough again! At least that's what we tell ourselves.

Author Jeffrey A. Kramer knows all too well how debilitating an addiction to the ideal can be. After a lifetime pursuing perfection, he broke free from its grip. And now, so can you. In "THE PERFECTION PARADOX" you will discover:

• How good intentions and efforts can lead to an addiction to perfection.
• The effects of perfectionism on yourself and those around you.
• A path to understanding and living with perfectionism in a way that serves you rather than enslaves you.

Are you ready to escape the paradox?  If so, take imperfect action and escape to excellence today!  To learn more about the book visit The Perfection Paradox Book website.

"Four years ago, we launched an experiment called the annual Author Elite Awards. In the process we've attracted many of the best authors around the world," said Kary Oberbrunner, founder of Igniting Souls Publishing Agency and the Author Elite Awards. "Our goal is to celebrate a force that creates life change in our society—books and the authors who write them. In our noisy world, books offer a unique appeal—the ability to lose ourselves in a story. Nothing else provides such transcendence."

Authors of all kinds—indie (self-published), traditional, or collaborative published—are being considered for the award in one of twelve categories. Entries are being reviewed and evaluated on popular vote, social contribution, and overall presentation (cover, content, flow, and originality).

If interested in supporting Kramer and participating in the popular vote portion of the award evaluation, visit AuthorEliteAwards.com and click the "Vote Now" button. Once there, click through to the Self-Help category (category 11), then find and click on "THE PERFECTION PARADOX."
