About the Artists

Brooklyn native Maxwell is one of the founders of the neo-soul movement and the #1 Male R&B singer in the world. His ability to achieve unimaginable musical notes has earned him comparisons to the likes of Prince.  He quickly rose to sex-symbol status and broke into the pop star fandom with iconic songs like "This Woman's Work" and his MTV Unpligged performance. Legendary girl group Xscape was formed in Atlanta, GA, and was discovered by Jermaine Dupri who signed the group to his So So Def label. Group members Kandi Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, LaTocha Scott, and Tamika Scott immediately impressed fans with their mid-90s certified Platinum album Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha, which included unforgettable hits like "Just Kickin It" and "Understanding." After follow-up successful projects and solo endeavors, the girls are performing together once again and fans are in for a treat. Xscape has been nominated for an American Music Award and won a Soul Train Award (Nominated for 3).
