Olivia Odileke to Deliver "Choose Curiosity" Keynote at TCEA 2027

Speaking Tuesday morning, February 2, Odileke argues that in an age of AI the future belongs to the curious.
AUSTIN, Texas - s4story -- AUSTIN, Texas, October 23, 2026. Kampus Insights CC Inc announced that founder and CEO Olivia Odileke will deliver a keynote at the TCEA 2027 Convention and Exposition. Her keynote, "Choose Curiosity," takes the stage on Tuesday morning, February 2. The convention runs January 31 to February 3, 2027, at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
"Choose Curiosity" challenges educators to examine what school is preparing students to do. Odileke argues that students can become exceptionally good at completing school without becoming exceptionally good at thinking, and that curiosity is where deeper learning begins. The keynote is built on three essentials: the beliefs that make curiosity possible, the practices that turn curiosity into daily student thinking, and a simple tool for choosing curiosity.

"Curiosity is not an engagement trick. It is the doorway to thinking," said Odileke. "In an age of AI, the future will belong to the curious, to those who ask questions and imagine what is possible. Choosing curiosity is how we develop students who do that, instead of students who only wait for answers."
Two book moments anchor her TCEA appearance. Odileke will give away 100 copies of her book Three Beliefs Every Teacher Needs to Spark Curiosity to educators attending her keynote. The convention marks the debut of her newest book, Spark Curiosity with Nearpod, and educators who visit the Nearpod booth can receive a complimentary copy.
The TCEA Convention and Exposition is one of the largest education events in the United States, drawing thousands of educators, with more than 400 sessions and over 350 exhibitors. Registration and the full schedule are available through TCEA.
Event organizers can view her keynote topics and submit booking requests at OliviaOdileke.com.
