Firm steps up as United Way Pacesetter company for seventh consecutive year
FORT MYERS, Fla. - s4story -- Employees at Priority Marketing have eclipsed $100,000 in personal contributions to United Way since the business became a Pacesetter company in 2020.
Since Priority Marketing formalized its partnership with United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades, the company's marketing professionals have contributed $106,085 in payroll deductions to support United Way's annual fundraising campaigns. The firm held its internal 2026-27 campaign kickoff in August, and for the seventh consecutive year, 100% of employees are contributing to United Way.
United Way Pacesetter companies include businesses and organizations that start their internal fundraising campaigns early to provide United Way with a headstart leading into its annual campaign. United Way's 2026-27 campaign theme is "The Greatest Hits: 70 Years of United Way" and has a fundraising goal of $10.4 million. The campaign is chaired by a trio of dynamic community champions – Joe Catti, Jim Nathan and Cliff Smith – and will support critical services and programs across the region.

"Half of the population in Southwest Florida benefits from programs and services offered and supported by United Way, and our team recognizes that group includes our neighbors, friends, family members and even co-workers," said Priority Marketing President and Chief Creative Officer Teri Hansen, APR. "United Way generates an exceptional return on investment, with over 96 cents of every dollar directly supporting programs and services right here in our community. Priority Marketing is honored to stand alongside other Pacesetter companies to help United Way fulfill its mission."
In addition to serving as a Pacesetter company, Priority Marketing will complete several volunteer activities in 2027 to support United Way's programs and partners. In 2026, the firm's employees participated in three separate food packing events at Harry Chapin Food Bank. Altruism is one of Priority Marketing's core company values, and since its inception, the firm has donated more than $7 million in pro bono and discounted professional services to hundreds of area nonprofits while team members have volunteered, served on boards and led collections benefiting many more organizations.
United Way will formally kick off its 2026-27 fundraising campaign on Dec. 1, when the nonprofit will celebrate Pacesetter companies and organizations for their support.
