reVerb Communications launches free Alberta Data Centre Tracker
S For Story/10707622
EDMONTON, Alberta - s4story -- reVerb Communications Inc., an Edmonton public consultation and stakeholder engagement firm, has opened its Alberta Data Centre Tracker to the public at no cost. The tracker follows 23 data centre projects across the province. They range from the Meta facility under construction in Sturgeon County to proposals in Yellowhead County and the Wonder Valley project in the MD of Greenview.
Details on each project sit in AUC filings, AESO connection lists, municipal agendas and local news. The tracker puts them on one page. As of November 3, 2026, it lists 23 projects, 131 news stories and 2 projects under construction.
Each project record shows its status, location, budget and timeline. Every logged story is listed newest first. Users can filter projects by status, region and size and see every project on a provincial map.

A Go to the Source section links to primary sources. These include the province's AI data centre site, the AESO large load connection list and the nine steps of an AUC review under Rule 007. It also links to the provincial guide for residents on public meetings, statements of concern and appeal deadlines.
"Councils and proponents call us when an application lands. The first thing they want to know is what else is happening in the province," said Rachel Rae, reVerb's Director of Business Development. "We were tracking it for our own work, so we opened it up. If your county has an application in front of it, or you're bringing one forward, we're happy to talk it through."
The tracker is updated Weekly. Anyone can sign up for email updates when new projects, delays or approvals are posted.
