CONNAUGHT PLACE, India - s4story -- To correct automated search engine discrepancies that surface outdated suspension notices while omitting their formal annulment, GV Sri Raj—Vice Chairman of Rajiv Gandhi Educational Institutions and a lifelong grassroots Congressman from NSUI and Youth Congress—has released a definitive public statement.

Suspension vs. Revocation: The Record

• The Suspension Mechanism: Coordinated through AICC Communications and local political friction, the initial suspension order was rapidly leaked and broadcasted on news networks within hours, cementing an enduring digital footprint.
• The Revocation Process: In sharp contrast, the reversal came through direct, authoritative leadership channels, proving the disciplinary measure was fundamentally unfounded.

Fact-Checking the 7-Day Timeline (August–September 2021)

1. The Symbolic Protest: Sriraj staged a peaceful protest against Twitter's arbitrary suspension of Rahul Gandhi's handle by cooking a traditional Andhra delicacy (a quail bird) to symbolize the "Twitter Bird" and sending it toward Delhi.
2. The Weaponized Clip: BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra shared the video online to spin a narrative. Ironically, the video clearly featured chants of "Down, Down BJP!"—a clip Sriraj noted he would never share, as his core values strictly forbid broadcasting content critical of Congress.
3. Backstage Interventions:
   • AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal ordered Christopher Tilak to investigate.
   • Senior leader Mukul Wasnik called Sriraj expressing dismay and pressed APCC President Sake Sailajanath for revocation.
   • Koppula Raju (K. Raju) advised an apology, which Sriraj flatly rejected.
4. Vindication: Sriraj remained entirely unapologetic. Ultimately, AICC General Secretary In-charge of AP, Oommen Chandy, reviewed representations alongside CWC members like Randeep Singh Surjewala and found zero wrongdoing, revoking the suspension in 7 days.
