The Shadow of the Scholar - Kathryn Malcolm's Debut Novel
S For Story/10592995
ELLESMERE PORT, U.K. - s4story -- US — Tea With Coffee Media will release "The Shadow of the Scholar" on July 25, 2023. From Kathryn Malcolm, "The Shadow of the Scholar" follows Saiyah, a half-demon in London who must navigate deceit, temptation, betrayal, and desire in a bid to risk everything for the forbidden truth.
Forced to keep her identity hidden in a world full of demon-slaying gods, Saiyah finds herself approached by an ancient demoness with a letter from her late mother that calls into question what she thought she knew. In her search for answers, she falls into the hedonistic, reckless lifestyle of lavish parties, occult practices, and secret libraries between worlds. To complicate things further, she must balance the attentions of Bezbiel and Idris, a charismatic, handsome demon and a young, suspicious god. Together they unravel the mysteries of her heritage, her mother's murder, and the involvement of an unsettling Elizabethan occultist. But as they grow closer to one another, the truth they discover may only serve to divide.
